Kalmar, a global pioneer in terminal automation and energy-efficient container handling, relies on InSolution’s expertise in both software engineering and global commissioning projects. The collaboration, which began in 2013, continues today with automated guided vehicles (AGVs).
“InSolution brings top-tier know-how in electric machine control and automation. These folks aren’t just line coders – we get real value for money from software development through to commissioning. I always feel confident working with InSolution – I can trust that things move forward,” says Jukka Ristimäki, Product Manager at Cargotec Finland Oy.
“Project resourcing has been flexible, even in the early stages, and InSolution is capable of taking on lead design responsibility and working independently. Their experts have joined us around the world during commissioning phases, and their on-site competence is excellent. We’ll be putting that to use at our new test site in Tampere as well.”
The future is electric – both at Kalmar and in society at large.
“Automation and the Industrial Internet are global trends visible in every major port, and we intend to continue leading the way. Optimizing consumption and expanding the use of electricity are key steps toward a more sustainable and smarter world,” Jukka adds.
